Handicraft

The history of this land is strictly linked to the manual and creative labour of craftsmen, and this labour has always had love for land, nature and life as basic elements. Not all the traditional handicraft activities have survived; many have been transformed both as far as dimension and fields of interest are concerned. Whereas, a sort of natural selection has left some of them still alive. There are many different kinds of objects on show here: dolls, ceramics, earthenware statues, carpets, wrought iron objects, laces, baskets and even some Bizantine style icons.
